Embedding: the basics
Content can be embedded into a project section using two methods:
Paste the share URL
Not all share URLs can be embedded as we need to include specific code for each source. Contact the Support Desk if you need something added [support@onwritetrack.com].
Paste the embed code
Not all sites provide embed code (HTML tagging)
Using the embed code allows you to control the width and height of the iFrame in which the content is embedded. The width and height are contained in the code, and ca easily be edited.
Go to the Insert menu and open the 'Embed media' item
Paste the share code or embed code and then click the green 'insert media' button


Video
Youtube (using share code)
Vimeo (using embed code)
Podcasts
iHeart (using embed code)
Apple podcast (using embed code)



Interactive material 
Datawrapper (using embed code)
Using the embed code rather than the share code allows you to control the width and height


Giphy (using embed code)


Education material 
H5P (using the embed code)



PollEverywhere (using the embed code)
Here is a help guide to access the embed code
For audience participation: on the sidebar click on 'Copy embed script' in the 'PollEv page'. 
The script will allow you to change the width and height. A typical page width is 650.
For displaying results: on the sidebar click on 'Copy embed script' in the 'Live results'. 
It will look like this (without the sidebar)


Google apps
Google apps include: Sheets, Slides, Docs, Jamboard, etc
Google apps can be embedded using the Share URL. 
Jamboard (using share URL)


Google drive
Open the preview page of public image
Click the 3 dots icon on the top-right then "Open in new window"
Click the 3 dots icon again in new window, then "Embed item"


Microsoft Sharepoint
Content from MS Sharepoint can be embedded (e.g., Powerpoint, Excel, Docs) by using the export copy embed code
Sharepoint access (i.e., login details) must be available to the reader otherwise they cannot see the content


Microsoft 365
Content from MS 365 can be embedded (e.g., Powerpoint, Excel, Docs) by using the share code
